Hopkins & Carley, a well-established law firm with offices in San Jose and Palo Alto, is currently seeking a full-time Trademark Practice Assistant for its downtown San Jose office. Primary responsibilities include supporting Trademark attorneys and paralegals. The duties will involve docketing, support, and administrative functions, including managing and organizing trademark communications and records, docketing trademark deadlines, preparing materials for filing with the USPTO, assisting with the ordering, processing, and distribution of watch service notifications and search reports, and preparing reports on trademark status.
Ideal candidate must be detail oriented, well organized, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be flexible to work overtime when needed, and possess a valid driver's license. Computer experience with MS Word and Excel required, law firm experience a plus. Candidates interested in the pursuit of higher education in the legal field are preferred.
