Litigation Paralegal

Hopkins & Carley, an established and dynamic law firm with offices in downtown San Jose and Redwood City, is currently seeking a full-time professional Litigation Paralegal in its San Jose office.  This is an excellent opportunity for a highly-skilled paralegal with direct commercial litigation experience.  The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS degree or paralegal certificate, have a minimum of 5 years of commercial litigation paralegal experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to multi-task, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and manage a variety of active cases.  The position requires strong document and pleading drafting experience, a strong knowledge of civil procedure, discovery, trial preparation and in-courtroom trial experience in State and Federal courts, and experience in all aspects of e-discovery.  Computer experience strongly preferred in MS Word, Excel, Legal MacPac, Summation, Relativity, Concordance, Westlaw, Lexis and OpenText eDocs.
