Job Opening: Technology Licensing and Commercial Associate

Hopkins & Carley, a full service law firm with offices in Redwood City and downtown San Jose, is seeking a Technology Licensing and Commercial Attorney with 3-6 years of relevant experience representing technology companies through all stages of their life-cycle.  The position is in our Redwood Shores office.  We are seeking candidates that have experience working on a variety of technology and commercial transactions such as software licenses, SaaS agreements, development, and professional services agreements, terms of use, reseller and distribution agreements.  Candidates should also have experience in data security and privacy matters and IP due diligence work in M&A and financing transactions.  The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to balance legal and business issues as well as the ability to manage multiple assignments.  Candidates must be a current member of the State Bar of California in good standing.  Please send cover letter, resume and transcript to: AttorneyRecruiting@hopkinscarley.com
