James V. Quillinan

Jim Quillinan is a member of Hopkins & Carley’s Family Wealth & Tax Planning Practice with more than 42 years of experience.  As a California Certified Specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law, Jim’s experience includes helping families and high net-worth individuals with these issues, including tax law, through counseling and in litigation.

Jim is a prolific writer, for the California State Bar and its California Continuing Education Program, Jim speaks frequently on trust and estate issues and is an active member of the American College of Trust and Estate Lawyers. He has addressed attorneys and bar associations throughout the region and nationally.

Aside from his expertise in trust and estate issues, Jim is also an avid moviegoer and the author of Q’s Reviews, a blog where he reviews the latest movies and theater performances.
