Managing the performance of employees is one of the most basic duties of every supervisor. Effective supervisors are able to establish performance standards, deliver feedback in a way that enhances the performance of each of their employees (not just those who are not meeting expectations) and, when necessary, implement terminations in a manner that does not create legal risk for the organization or damage its culture. This process has been made even more complicated for some employers due to the disruption of work caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our seminar will offer practical tips on how to accomplish these basic but extremely important tasks, and provide an opportunity for participants to ask our attorneys about best practices for use now and after the pandemic subsides.
