2020 Developing Effective Handbooks
The Employee Handbook is (or should be) one of the cornerstones of any company’s human resources infrastructure. All companies should review and update their Employee Handbooks periodically, preferably every 12 to 18 months.
As the New Year begins, employers should review their Employee Handbook to ensure that it is compliant with recent court decisions and new legislation that became effective on January 1, 2020, as well as guidance from the General Counsel of the National Labor Relations Board and current best practices.
This seminar will assist employers in creating or updating an Employee Handbook to aid them in complying with applicable laws and minimizing the risk of claims from employees.
