On The Town
Date: June 8, 2006Hundreds of guests joined the Boy Scouts of America for the annual awards reception and dinner. The five honorees from Santa Clara County were selected by a committee of community leaders. This year’s recipients were: Don Allen, chairman of Cupertion National Bank; Milpitas Mayor Jose Esteves; John Hopkins of the Hopkins & Carley law firm; Henry Le, president of Lee’s Sandwiches; and Leigh Weimers, who recently ended a 47–year stint with the Mercury News and now writes for San Jose Magazine.
